FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Pablo Malco Foundation (PMF), in partnership with The Achievables Character Education Program, are collaborating to bring The Achievables Education Musical Show to eight Title One Broward County elementary schools next Fall. PMF, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and development of dance, music and the arts with a specific focus on serving under privileged and at-risk children, is currently seeking to raise funds on Power2Give.org/Broward, a local online fundraising platform managed by Business for the Arts of Broward to support local arts and cultural projects that is in need of funding. Power2Give.org/Broward is part of a national movement created by the Arts & Science Council (ASC). BrightStar Credit Union, originally founded by Broward County teachers, is already leading the way by donating to this important cause. The Knight Foundation, a sponsor of Power2Give, is matching this and all other donations received.

The Achievables educational and entertaining show is a motivational, interactive, enlightening performance that promotes character building and reinforces important core values using six super-hero characters that promote Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness, Healthy Eating, Being Drug-Free and how to deal with Peer-Pressure and Bullying. Through music, dance, rhyme and rap, PMF presents "The Achievables" Education Musical in hopes to spread positive messages and empower children of all ages and backgrounds. During the performances, relatable characters such as "Peer Pressure Peter" and "Healthy Hannah" make it cool to "Say No to Bullying", "Eat Healthy" and "Have Fun Exercising".

Funds raised will fund the productions and school promotional materials for the eight Title One Broward County elementary schools. BrightStar Credit Union, who donated already, is among the largest Credit Unions in South Florida with assets greater than $300 million and takes great pride in supporting the South Florida community while creating a brighter financial future. The Knight Foundation will match the Bright Star Credit Union donation as well as other projects on Power2Give up to $75,000 by contributing $1.00 for every $1.00 donated. Depending on size of the donations, donors may be recognized in event invitations, on display boards at the performances, in souvenir autograph books and/or on a special landing page on The Achievables website located at www.theachievables.com.
