The BSO LBTS district reminds you that during the holiday season crimes such as car break-ins and thefts are more common in part due to the increase in cash carrying shoppers and unattended vehicles filled with holiday gifts. BSO urges you to be alert and aware of your surroundings. Victimization may be prevented by adhering to the tips provided below:
• Lock your vehicles and don't leave property in plain view
• Park in well lit areas
• Have your keys in hand when you walk to your vehicle
• Be aware of persons or vehicles acting suspiciously
• Shop with a companion or in a group
• Limit the amount of cash and credit cards that you carry
• Do NOT leave valuables unattended at any time
• Report ANY Suspicious Activity by calling 911
