LYC’s Mac Agnese skippered the B Division boat for the Boston College Eagles, finishing 1^st!

Saturday, September 29:
Today was an incredibly difficult day on Eastchester Bay. Wind came from the W, NW, N, NE and just about every other direction throughout the course of the day. Wind varied from 3-8 mph with incredibly flat water. A division was able to complete four races, and B division was able to complete three. The breeze died at 4:45 and was clearly done for the day. Two protests were heard. One resulted in a DSQ and one was deemed as no foul. Thanks to Alden Reid and Steven Widdis for hearing the protests. An enormous thank you goes out to KP for bringing their Hurricane Motor Boat and launch for helping with moving marks and spectating. The sailors at KP did a phenomenal job helping on the water. Racing will continue at 9:45 tomorrow morning. We are hoping for more wind and more stable wind.

Sunday, September 30:
Racing ended late on Saturday because the wind forecast for Sunday was very poor. The weather man was finally right. Sailors launched at 9:20 and slowly made their way to the race course. One start was attempted in light and variable wind. The race was abandoned before the start and no other races were attempted. Sailors waited on land for the wind to fill, but it became evident that no further sailing would be done. The racing was called off at 1:45, but all of the sailors stuck around and enjoyed a traditional trophy presentation and a slice of "World Famous" S&S Cheesecake. Thank you again to the sailors from Kings Point. They were a huge help this weekend. Thanks to the Fordham Rams and Columbia Lions who took care of the activities on land. Congratulations to the Fordham Rams for taking home the Jesuit Memorial Trophy.
