South Florida – (April 22, 2013) It will be an evening like no other as supporters of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) take over South Florida hotspot Café Iguana to raise awareness and funds for the organization dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Hosts of the event are former Miami Dolphin, Sam Madison, and his wife Saskia, along with star of the hit tv show The Glades, Jordan Wall, who promise an exclusive evening of great music, fabulous auction items and tons of fun!

Taking place from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2013, attendees are invited in to the newly renovated destination for nightlife in Pembroke Pines for the Mix 'n Mingle event. Guests will be treated to two complimentary cocktails and unlimited appetizers, music by DJ 1Tre, as well as the highlight of the evening, the meet and greet with the celebrities and sports stars in attendance.

"We are excited to host this event in support of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation," said Saskia Madison. "Living with Crohn's disease has been an up and down battle for me for many years. This event is our way of doing what we can to create awareness for an often misdiagnosed disease as well as help to raise money in support of finding a cure. The closer we get to finding a cure the less we have to worry about future generations living with the same challenges I do."

The trio, all of whom have been involved with CCFA for years, are also training for the Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon as part of CCFA's Team Challenge program. The bi-annual Team Challenge program, an endurance training and fundraising program, challenges participants to run, or walk, 13.1 miles, or train for a triathlon or cycling event while helping to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, two chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases that impact more than 1.4 million Americans.

Up for grabs the evening of the event are an auctioned walk-on "extra" roll on The Glades, as well as a number of fabulous raffle prizes including an autographed copy of a The Glades script; autographed Miami Dolphins memorabilia and more! Tickets for this event are $30 per person in advance (must be purchased at online.ccfa.org/celebrityevent) and $40 at the door.
