WHAT: Secret Woods Nature Center in Dania Beach will offer a Shiitake Log Technique Class, for ages 12 and up, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, in the park’s Julia Hall. Participants will learn the inoculated log technique for fungus culture and will leave with a shiitake-inoculated log for their home gardens. Preregistration is required, and a $20 donation to the Friends of Secret Woods volunteer group is requested.
