Whether it's for personal achievement or the first big steps in your new career plan, Airborne Systems Flight School has the quality tools and professional staff to help you reach your individual or professional summit.
Each year thousands of dreamers realize the embodiment of their aviation dreams. Today almost a million active pilot licenses are held in the US. In business since 1994, Airborne Systems has graduated thousands of those pilots. Located in the heart of the world's flight training capitol, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Airborne Systems has played a key role in preparing many currently employed as airline pilots. Whether preparing to receive your private pilot license (PPL) or seeking an Airline Transport (ATP) rating, let Airborne Systems Flight School be the wings that help lift you higher and higher
Airborne Systems features one of the youngest fleets of training aircraft in all of South Florida. With the exception of one "R" model, all out 172's are "SP" models, the latest incarnation of the iconic plane to role off the assembly lines in Wichita, Kansas. Another critical element when considering flight schools is who your teachers are. Our team of veteran flight instructors share an average age of forty-three and five-thousand hours of flight time each. Our Chief Flight Instructor, a retired inspector from the Federal Aviation Administration, has over forty years of aviation experience alone. He remains a designated pilot examiner, recognized by the FAA.
Training to become a professional pilot doesn't necessarily have to take a lot of time. Our students earn their wings about thirty percent faster than the national average as compiled by AOPA (Airplane Owners and Pilot's Assoc.), the national authority on flight training. Spend less and get more by earning your certificate sooner at Airborne Systems.
