FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (November 20, 2012) – With momentum building and over 500 attendees confirmed to date, you won’t want to miss The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale’s Men of Style Shopping Night presented by Signature Grand on Wed., Nov. 28, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. Ten prominent men will strut their stuff on the runway in support of some of their favorite local charities: Felipe Basulto (Make-A-Wish Southern Florida), Steve Crombe (Women In Distress of Broward County), Sean Deviney (Take Stock in Children), Roger Hicks (Leadership Broward Foundation), Jeff Mikus (Art and Culture Center of Hollywood), Hyram Montero (Henderson Behavioral Health), Dev Motwani (ArtServe), Peter Neirouz (Broward Center for the Performing Arts), Jorge Saenz (Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre) and Axel Soto (HANDY).
This year offers a new $75 VIP ticket option which includes a pre-wine reception at Truluck’s and preferred seating for the runway fashion show. The highlight of the evening will be the runway show featuring the Men of Style honorees as they take center stage wearing the latest trend-setting fashions from Dillard’s and Macy’s.

Felipe Basulto, representing Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida, is the Retail Market Manager for TD Bank in Miami. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and the South Florida Hispanic Chamber, where he is Chair-Elect, and the South Florida Progress Foundation Board.
Steve Crombe, representing Women in Distress of Broward County, became Co-Owner of Sweeter Days Bake Shop after retiring from the Liz Claiborne Corporation in 2005. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Liz Claiborne Foundation, as well as MTS (Mobilizing Talents and Skills). Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the National Marfan Foundation and promotes “Cupcakes for a Cause” to give back to the community.
Sean Deviney, representing Take Stock in Children, is an integral member of the full-service team at Provenance Wealth Advisors and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He sits on the Broward County Board of Directors for Take Stock in Children, and mentors a local student through the program.
Roger Hicks, representing the Leadership Broward Foundation, is the Director of Client Services for Current360 and serves as Vice President of Communications for Leadership Broward. A 26-year resident of South Florida, he has served on many non-profit boards in the tri-county area and has been recognized as both an “Up & Comer” and “40 Under 40” winner by the South Florida Business Journal.
Jeff Mikus, representing the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, is the Director of Fun at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. A contributing member of the Executive Committee, he serves as a coach and mentor to Diplomat Ambassadors and is also a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Hyram Montero, representing Henderson Behavioral Health, is a Personal Injury Attorney at Montero Law and founded Broward County’s first multilingual law firm in 1988. He serves on the boards of Henderson Behavioral Health, Light of the World Clinic, Hispanic Unity of Florida and Take Stock in Children, as well as served as president of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association.
Dev Motwani, representing ArtServe, is Managing Partner of Chieftain Holdings and serves as Co-President and CFO of Merrimac Ventures. He is also a partner with the Lauderdale Air Show, LLC, All American Windows and Doors and Florida Aluminum Products. Through his involvement with numerous charities, he currently serves on the board of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Riverwalk Trust and Broward County’s Small Business Advisory Board.
Peter Neirouz, representing Broward Center for the Performing Arts, is the Volunteer & Intern Services Manager at the leading venue. He is a founding member of the Broward Center’s Ghost Light Society and serves on the advisory boards of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale Transportation Management Association and the Florida Access Coalition for the Arts. He is also a graduate of Leadership Broward Class XXX.
Jorge Saenz, representing Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre, leads technology and business development efforts at Hussmann. He has been an active part of the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre’s Board of Trustees since 2010 and currently serves as its new Board Chair.
Axel Soto, representing HANDY, is currently the Lead Information Technology Analyst for AutoNation, Inc. He is a part of HANDY’s Next Generation committee, and throughout the years has participated in many volunteer committees and activities, including mentoring a local student through Take Stock in Children.
