FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – 2-1-1 Broward hosted a fabulous CLUB 2-1-1 Connecting Event for one hundred local business people and members of the community at Allied Kitchen & Bath in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, November 13th. The engaging cocktail party was sponsored by Florida Power & Light (FPL) and Allied Kitchen & Bath. During the event, guests enjoyed an evening of networking, cocktails and a delicious array of hors d'oeuvres from The Capital Grille and Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. Bill Feinberg, owner of Allied Kitchen & Bath, welcomed everyone and introduced Tracy Schuldiner, 2-1-1 Broward's Director of Events & Corporate Relations, who told the guests about all the amazing work and services that 2-1-1 Broward provides for our communities. She also made the exciting announcement that Florida Power & Light (FPL) has become the new year-round partner of CLUB 2-1-1 and introduced Juliet Roulhac, FPL Regional Manager to say a few words. The stage was then taken by the Event Ambassador, Michael Wild, Esq., Managing Partner with Wild Felice & Partners, P.A. and a new 2-1-1 Broward Board Member, who thanked all the guests for attending and for their continued support of 2-1-1 Broward.
CLUB 2-1-1 was created to expand 2-1-1 Broward's mission of "connecting" by offering exclusive networking opportunities for local professionals and individuals to meet at different venues throughout Broward County. While connecting to others, CLUB 2-1-1 members also get acquainted with the work of 2-1-1 Broward and the ways in which the organization serves them and the entire community. Members are listed in CLUB 2-1-1's online directory with a link to their companies' websites. They also have the opportunity to become a featured CLUB 2-1-1 member.
Monies raised through memberships, $211 per year, are used to help support the general operations of 2-1-1 Broward, the community's only 24/7comprehensive helpline for individuals in our community seeking crisis intervention assistance, emotional support, information and connections to health and human services in Broward County.
