FORT LAUDERDALE, FL  – United Way of Broward County is proud to announce that Tom Watson has been hired as the organization’s Vice President of Finance. Watson will lead the organization’s finance department and serve as a member of the senior staff.

“Tom comes to United Way very highly recommended. One of the greatest assets that Tom brings to our team is his strategic experience. We are extremely excited to have him on board,” said Kathleen Cannon, CEO and president of United Way of Broward County.

Watson comes to United Way with more than 30 years of experience as a senior level finance executive and licensed CPA. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Arch Aluminum. Prior to that, he spent 27 years as the CFO at Alpine Engineered Products. Watson received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University.
