POMPANO BEACH, FL – The Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that Jeff Levine of South Florida Chamber Maps has been named Small Business Person of the Year. Levine will be honored at the Annual Small Business Person of the Year Luncheon sponsored by the Broward County Council of Chambers on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Renaissance Hotel, 1230 S. "Jeff's dedication to the Greater Pompano Beach area shows in both his business and volunteer activities," said Chamber president Ric Green. "He worked tirelessly to help our local community create stronger businesses. Jeff is an asset to our Chamber, and we are honored to give him this award."
Mr. Levine has recently moved to Pompano Beach from Weston.
"We had an opportunity to move and wanted to be closer to the beach," Levine explained. "Pompano is a great up-and-coming City."
South Florida Chamber Maps produces colorful local maps for several South Florida Chambers of Commerce. He decided to work with the maps because he saw the need for a product that allows Chambers to reach out to the whole community. Jeff is very active in the South Florida community. He has served on the board of directors of the United Way of Broward County, Hispanic Unity of Florida and the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale. In addition to developing the above chamber projects, he is also actively involved in several special committees for the Pompano, Deerfield and LBTS Chambers.
