Dina Friedman. DANIA BEACH, FL – Charles S. Cohen, President/Owner of DCOTA, today announced that Dina Friedman has joined the Design Center of the Americas as Vice President, Director of Marketing. In her new position, Ms. Friedman will coordinate all marketing functions for DCOTA including special events and outreach to the design community.
With more than 15 years of marketing and advertising sales experience focused on the shelter and luxury lifestyle categories, Ms. Friedman joins DCOTA from Niche Media, the preeminent regional marketing group with the largest network of city-specific publications in the country, including Art Basel Miami Beach, Aspen Peak, Boston Common, Capitol File, Gotham, Hamptons, Los Angeles Confidential, Michigan Avenue, Ocean Drive, Philadelphia Style, Vegas, and Wynn. She spent over 10 years at Niche Media, starting as Design Sales Director for Florida InsideOut magazine and rising to National Account Executive, where she successfully built strategic partnerships utilizing print campaigns, social media, customized events, and sponsorships.
Prior to that, Ms. Friedman spent three years at Lowe Worldwide in New York City, where she was an Account Supervisor for the Dell Corporation account, managing a team behind a complex interactive marketing program during a period of unprecedented growth in online sales and revenue. She is a 1999 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications in Gainesville.
