Fort Lauderdale, FL – Bombshell Productions, a Fort Lauderdale-based experiential marketing, custom event production and global branding firm, was recently awarded a national business recognition.
On Nov. 14, at the 11th Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business awards ceremony in New York City, Bombshell firm CEO and president Meredith Lasher was presented with a Gold Stevie® Award for her firm's demonstrated success. The company was named a finalist last month in the prestigious American Business Awards for Women in Business, also known as The Stevie® Awards.

Lasher and her Bombshell team won in the category of Most Innovative Company of the Year, 10 employees or less. They join a roster of 2014 Stevie® Gold Award winners that includes Nerium International, Australian Innovative Systems Party Limited Company (Brisbane), iFinance Canada, Inc. (Toronto) and PepsiCo China. The Stevie® Awards for Women in Business are the world's premier awards for women executives, entrepreneurs, and the organizations they run.

Lasher possesses a unique combination of skills and experience that make her the perfect fuse and muse to Bombshell Productions' explosive creativity. She has led the experiential marketing team from their downtown Fort Lauderdale offices since 2011.
During that time, her close-knit staff of designers, producers, craftsmen and engineers has worked with international clients, such as Fendi, RedBull, and Harry Winston, creating environments that uniquely showcase their brands.
In a short span of time, Lasher and her team have been recognized by the industry for their one-of-a-kind marketing experiences with six local Silver Addy® Awards, also known as the American Advertising Awards presented by the American Advertising Federation, as well as two at the district level.
With an extensive background in theatre and show production, Lasher is also the founder of The Trap Door Theatre Company and co-founder of the Women's Theater Project. She is a past President of Board of Directors for The Theatre League of South Florida and The Women's Theatre Project. She also serves as President of the American Advertising Federation, Fort Lauderdale.
