Dania Beach, FL – DCOTA (the Design Center of the Americas) recently hosted more than 400 professional designers and design enthusiasts at FALL MARKET 2014, a full day of design demonstrations and discussions featuring top industry insiders.
"One of the most interesting moments was the presentation of Timeless Trendsetters by Windsor Smith, Laura Kirar and Allison Paladino, three of today's most successful leaders in the design industry, who were interviewed by Betty Cortina-Weiss, Editor-in-Chief of Indulge Magazine," said Dina Friedman, DCOTA's Vice President, Director of Marketing. "The audience was fascinated as the successful designers shared how they had cornered the market by forming licensee agreements for furniture, fabrics, accessories and lighting."
DCOTA's FALL MARKET 2014 also offered professional presentations by consultant Steve Nobel, attorney Alan Siegel and designers Alberto Villalobos and Mercedes Desio, plus Showroom Presentations by leading design experts and a series of nonstop Open House Showrooms.
Another highlight was the opening of a major exhibition by one of New York City's leading architectural photographers. Circumstantial Evidence: Photographs by Durston Saylor features more than 60 large format and astonishingly detailed abstractions, which will be on view at DCOTA for several months.
