Hollywood, FL — Returning for its fifth year, the Hispanic of Unity of Florida’s 2016 Entrepreneur Summit is a day-long learning and networking event showcasing the diverse array of businesses that contribute to South Florida’s economy.
This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, September 28, at Nova Southeastern University, in the Carl DeSantis Building, from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Keynote and American Dreamer Awards & Conversation begins at 8:30 am.
Expected to draw more than 400 people, the Summit will provide emerging entrepreneurs and established business owners with access to seasoned experts and educational resources to help them grow their business. Attendees include a mix of business owners, entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 companies, economic development specialists, representatives from government agencies, small business experts, procurement officers, educational institutions, media and corporate partners, and others interested in entrepreneurship. The Summit’s presenting sponsor is Chase; other sponsors include JM Family Enterprises/Southeast Toyota Distributors, Nova Southeastern University, Memorial Healthcare System and WSVN Channel 7 News.
The Kauffman Foundation named Miami/Fort Lauderdale Number 2 among the nation’s best places to start a small business.
