FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The South Florida Institute on Aging (SoFIA) will host the Aging in South Florida Virtual Symposium presented by AARP on Wednesday, October 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The virtual event will explore “the new normal” in a post-COVID world, presenting innovative ideas and solutions to employment, healthcare and diversity challenges faced by older adults. The event will be a forum to encourage conversation and collaborative problem solving to better help older adults thrive as they age, while providing information on community efforts and resources.
SoFIA’s virtual experience also includes opportunities to attend seminars of personal interest, while sponsors and vendors will benefit from a virtual booth and AI technology to connect them to attendees from the same industry or with shared interests.
