MIAMI – Palm Holdings, an international hospitality development company, announced today that it has added a key hotel to its Florida portfolio with the takeover of the Element Miami International Airport.
The property, located at 3525 NW 25th Street, is just minutes from one of the country’s busiest airports, as well as within just a few miles of some of the city’s largest office parks. Additionally, the property is steps away from the planned $1 billion Miami Freedom Park, which will be home to Miami’s professional soccer team.
The Element Miami International Airport features 209 guest rooms, five stories and 135,811 square feet. Rooms include Standard, Studio, One Bedroom and Executive Suite Kings and Studio Queens. All feature a fully equipped kitchen area with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and coffee and tea maker for the convenience of long-term business travelers or anyone who wants to make Miami feel more like a home.
In addition, the more than 5-acre property features a breakfast bar and pantry, salon, outdoor patio and fire pit, fitness center, heated outdoor pool, business center, on-site laundry, complimentary airport shuttle and a grocery shopping service to help stock those kitchens.
“We’re thrilled to add the Element Miami International Airport to our portfolio of properties at Palm Holdings,” said Taneja, Managing Principle, Palm Holdings. “Florida is a fantastic market, and Miami is a huge part of travel there. We are excited to plant our stake in this vibrant city, opening our doors to travelers as soon as they arrive and serving as a launching pad for them throughout their stay.”
Palm Holdings saw huge potential in the Element Miami International Airport and sought the property as its entrance to the vibrant Miami market. The company also owns the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Naples Downtown—5th Avenue, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites South Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, the Holiday Inn—Orlando SW—Celebration Area, and has several other projects in its pipeline both in Canada and Florida.
Palm Holdings has more than 20 properties and in excess of 3000 rooms under ownership and management in three countries worldwide and looks to continue expanding its footprint in key cities in Florida because of its strong tourism draw.
