“Parenthood should begin with learning and nothing makes me happier than being able to meet so many new parents embarking on this same journey,” said Rosie Pope. “I can’t wait to be in South Florida on October 4, and I hope to be able to meet and help guide as many people as possible!”
The Mother of All Baby Showers is a true one-stop shopping experience for gathering useful information and resources, meeting other parents and parents-to-be, celebrating parenthood and getting pampering and gifted in the process. All of the hand-picked local and national brands represented at the event fit in perfectly as many were created by parents for parents. They have built success by listening to and educating parents, without passing judgment, and helping to instill confidence in their clients.
"I am proud to be partnering with Memorial Healthcare System, Young At Art Museum and Rosie Pope, among many other companies," said Amy Lundy, creator of The Mother of All Baby Showers. "They can relate to the excitement as well as the concerns and questions we all have during pregnancy and parenthood, and be a real source of support to families."
The event offers a huge opportunity for parents to prepare for the arrival of a new baby by learning some of the parenting basics and researching the many choices they will encounter as consumers. Educational sessions will cover The ABCs of Planning for Baby and Beyond, Pre- and Postnatal Health and Nutrition, Nursery Design, Child Passenger Safety, Sleep Training, Financial Planning and more. The Try It Before You Buy It area gives attendees the chance to interact with more than 50 maternity, juvenile and family-focused national and local companies. The evening also includes book signings and a pop-up shop by Rosie Pope, a pampering suite by Zenerations of Boca, tasty treats from local businesses, The Mother of All Swag Bags and giveaways valued at over $20,000.
“As the Presenting Sponsor for the event, we look forward to meeting new parents and soon-to-be parents, and we intend to educate and celebrate them at this special event," said Mary Roberts, Director of Maternity at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, one of three hospitals with maternity services under Memorial Healthcare System. "As the largest healthcare system in the South Florida area, we have a responsibility to support our community of families, and we know this event will be an excellent opportunity to present the array of services we offer families throughout their lives, far beyond pregnancy and early parenthood."
The Mother of All Baby Showers is expected to attract more than 500 attendees and will feature more than 50 companies, including Britax and BOB, ErgoBaby and OrbitBaby, The Bump, Charles Schwab, Enfamil, Jason Hulfish Design Studio, Happy Family, Mommy Guru, Tutti Bambini, Pediatric Associates, Bellini, Broward Family Life Magazine and many more.
"Young At Art Museum is the perfect venue for this exciting event as the museum serves as the epicenter of arts education in South Florida, providing inspiring, interactive experiences for children and families," said Mindy Shrago, Executive Director/CEO of Young At Art Museum. "We look forward to introducing expectant and new parents to all that Young At Art has to offer."
Tickets for the event are $15 for regular admission and $25 for advanced admission. Advanced admission is limited to 150 people and includes four tickets to Young At Art Museum, early admission to the event at 5:30 p.m., and a special swag bag.
