FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - - Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale in association with the Downtown Development Authority and the City of Fort Lauderdale will host Light Up Lauderdale on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 6:30pm in Esplanade Park.  2013 marks the fifth year of this free family holiday spectacular showcasing the dazzling display of lights and decorations along the Riverwalk.  Join Mayor Jack Seiler as he flips the switch to kick-off this year's 10-week festive celebration.
 
 
The Light Up Lauderdale kickoff is a family friendly event.  All are encouraged to attend and enjoy a special performance of holiday musical selections by the Girls Choir of South Florida, sleigh rides around the park, face paintings, and a special visit by Santa.
