FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale hosted its annual signature spring event, “Spring for Mental Health,” at Truluck’s Ft. Lauderdale to benefit Henderson Behavioral Health. Five dynamic women who have made a positive impact on mental health services in our area by supporting Henderson Behavioral Health were recognized: Deborah Charron, Gail Kaplan, Carolyn Lee, Susan Renneisen and Gloria Stuart.
“The Galleria is proud to support the efforts of Henderson Behavioral Health and to recognize individuals who positively impact mental health programs through fundraising and advocacy,” said Melissa Milroy, senior marketing manager at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. “Henderson plays a significant role in our community, and with our help we hope more people can access mental health and substance abuse services.”
An impressive group of Henderson Behavioral Health supporters enjoyed an array of Truluck’s signature culinary delights and popular spirits during this non-seated cocktail reception and awards presentation. Honorees received a custom-made art piece award by artist Nadine Floyd.
“We appreciate this opportunity brought to life by The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale with support from Truluck’s,” said Suzanne Higgins, director of development for Henderson Behavioral Health. “This event was a great opportunity for us to say thank you to some key supporters and at the same time raise funds to provide access to mental health services.”
