The City of Fort Lauderdale would like to provide neighborhoods in the vicinity of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport with the following information regarding air traffic.  Please share this information with your fellow residents.

TEMPORARY CHANGE IN FLIGHT PATH

Aircraft departing Runway 8 at Executive Airport will be instructed by Air Traffic Control to fly southeast after departure.

The temporary change in flight path will occur:

Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The temporary change in flight path is necessary to allow departures during the Presidential visit to South Florida.

The City of Fort Lauderdale encourages residents to call the Airport's 24-hour Noise Abatement Hotline at (954) 828-6666 to report incidents of excessively loud aircraft. You may also report aircraft noise using the online Aircraft Noise Reporting Form from the City's website located at:  www.fortlauderdale.gov/FXE/noise_report.htm
