South Broward High School has been awarded the Cambridge International School status by Cambridge International Examinations. This distinction allows South Broward High to offer Cambridge programs and qualifications, including Marine Science, Physics, Mathematics/Calculus, Mathematics/Probability and Statistics, English, Thinking Skills, General Paper, Art and Design, French and Spanish.
Cambridge International Examinations is the world’s largest provider of international education programs and qualifications for 5 to 19 year olds. It is part of the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s top universities and trusted for excellence in education. Cambridge programs and qualifications are taught in more than 9,000 schools in over 160 countries.

This is the first year for the Cambridge program at South Broward High, which becomes Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) third high school to offer the program. Fort Lauderdale High School is entering its 11th year of the Cambridge program and Cypress Bay High School introduced the program in 2013/14.
