Sawgrass Mills, recognized around the world as the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the United States with as many as 350 stores and eateries, has begun construction on the next expansion of its open-air luxury promenade, The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills. The planned project will include an additional 80,000 sf to comprise of 30 additional luxury outlet stores and full-service restaurants, which will join an impressive roster of existing brands like Prada, GUCCI, Tory Burch, Burberry and more.
“The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills continues to be a huge success, catering to an elite customer base from near and far and generating great interest from more high-end brands looking to expand their market presence,” said Luanne Lenberg, VP / general manager at Sawgrass Mills. “This expansion will be a win-win for shoppers who will have access to more than 60 exclusive brands not found anywhere else in Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Palm Beach, including Armani, Jimmy Choo and Diesel, while at the same time it will be a coup for South Florida to attract more visitors to stay longer and spend more in the area.”
This exciting development follows in the footsteps of the 2013 expansion of The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills, which added outlet locations from top designer brands, including Versace, Diane Von Furstenberg, Roberto Cavalli and Wolford. It will open during 2016 and be situated on the east end near Sawgrass Mills’ Fashion Row. Tenants will be announced at a later date.

The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills celebrated its grand opening during spring of 2006 and has continued to grow in response to shopper and retailer demand. Its appealing outdoor setting with landscaped walkways, a unique art display of oversized, creatively decorated freestanding alligator sculptures, dining al fresco and valet parking is part of its unique charm as part of Sawgrass Mills.
