FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – On Saturday, Congresswoman Lois Frankel was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Broward Democratic Party's 2015 Unity Dinner. Frankel was recognized for her longtime service to South Florida in the state legislature, as mayor of West Palm Beach, and as a member of Congress.

"I am grateful to have had the extraordinary opportunity to serve my community for the past 30 years, and I am thankful for my family, friends, and supporters who have made it possible," said Frankel upon receiving the award. "I look forward to continuing to fight on behalf of South Florida in Congress."
