FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Amy Ballon and Lisa Whitaker, with a combined 30 years of South Florida luxury pre-construction development sales and marketing expertise, recently launched the Fort Lauderdale-based Hemisphere Sales Group. The boutique firm directly works with select developers, offering consulting services from the infancy stage of the project until sales are complete.
Hemisphere was recently tapped to provide sales and marketing services for Fernbrook Florida, LLLP’s Sabbia Beach luxury residences, the first new luxury oceanfront condominium development to be built in Pompano Beach in nearly a decade. Ballon and Whitaker are spearheading the sales efforts for this exclusive property.
Having begun her real estate career in 1996 selling Ocean One in Miami, Ballon, a California native, has managed some of the nation’s largest builders and developers. Most recently, she served as vice president of development sales, Broward County at ONE Sotheby’s International Realty Development Division. In this position, she was awarded Privage and RIVA, two of Broward County’s newest properties. Before that time, she provided exclusive sales and marketing leadership management for some of South Florida’s most prestigious landmark signature luxury communities, such as Bellini Williams Island, The Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live, Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach, Las Olas River House, The Port Condo & Marina, Dezer Development's Trump Grande, The Related Group’s Ocean One and Ocean Three, Altman Development Corporation’s Sapphire, and Il Villaggio.
Whitaker, who has been a South Florida resident since the 1970s, began her real estate career in 2002. She has sold over $1 billion in properties to date. A top producer in her field, she has partnered with leading marketing firms and developers, including Premier Sales Group and International Sales Group, working on some of the most notable recent real estate projects in South Florida. These include Symphony, Eden, Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach, W Hotel Condominiums, Sage Beach and Muse. In 2010, she launched Douglas Elliman’s development division and successfully repositioned both Opera Tower and Hollywood Station.
