FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- The beautiful waterfront Fort Lauderdale home of Wayne and Marti Huizenga was the site for Passport to PAWS – “A ‘Fur’ever Home for the Holidays” in December.  The event was a great fundraising success for the Humane Society of Broward County, bringing in over $62,000 for the shelter’s programs and services.
Festive decorations adorned the entire property, and guests enjoyed soaking up the holiday atmosphere as they sipped cocktails while bidding at the silent auction.  High-end items being offered included amazing trips, beautiful jewelry, theater and dining packages, and much more.  A delicious al fresco dinner followed, beautifully set outdoors under the stars and made complete with live entertainment.

Guests had the opportunity to purchase prize drawing tickets to win stunning 18-karat white gold yellow beryl and diamond earrings, provided by Jon Paul Jewelers, Christine and Austin Forman, and Margaret and Michael Meldeau.
