FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Durée Ross, president and founder of Fort Lauderdale-based full-service public relations, marketing and special events firm Durée & Company, Inc. was recently recognized as a 2015 Influential Business Woman by South Florida Business Journal. Ross received the award on May 21 at the 2015 Influential Business Women Awards at Signature Grand in Davie.

The 2015 Influential Business Women Awards recognize the top 26 most influential business women in South Florida who have made unique contributions to the community and business world.

The award-winning Durée & Company, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, is continuously expanding and serves the corporate, agency and non-profit arenas for local, national and international clients. A public relations professional for 20 years, Ross has paved her way to success with tireless dedication, creativity, and a desire to make a difference in the South Florida business and nonprofit communities.

She is also a member of the Broward Women’s Alliance, United Way of Broward County’s Envision Founding 40 group and Women’s Executive Leadership Committee, and the Ghost Light Society at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. She volunteers her time and PR expertise to a number of non-profit organizations.
