CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Doris Italian Market & Bakery, a premiere specialty supermarket serving South Florida communities, recently hosted a Spring Wine & Food Gala at their Coral Springs location that raised $1,240 for Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida. The organization has been dedicated to providing therapeutic riding and equine-related activities to children and adults with special needs for close to 30 years.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Doris Italian Market for their Spring Gala,” said Justine Morgan, outreach coordinate for Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida. “The funds raised here tonight allow children and adults with special needs to receive therapeutic horseback riding so they can improve physically, mentally and emotionally.”

This year’s Spring Gala featured a variety of Doris’ specialty items, including various artisan cheeses and fresh, locally sourced seafood. Each dish was carefully paired with one of the 100 wines offered for tasting at the fundraiser.
