WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- With more women in business rising to the top in their corporate careers and launching entrepreneurial ventures, Women's Prosperity Network has launched a program to honor women who exemplify a strong combination of resilience and heart, and who have demonstrated these qualities in their professional lives as well as through their community involvement. The awards ceremony will take place during WPN's 6th Anniversary Celebration on April 12th, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Holiday Inn Airport, 1301 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach, FL (Click here for details and registration.)
"Every woman deserves to be recognized and honored for their contributions and we will be celebrating all of the women who join us for the event on April 12th. It is when women come together and acknowledge themselves and each other that extraordinary results occur, for them individually, for their families and the community at large" says Nancy Matthews, Founder of Women's Prosperity Network. The three (3) women selected to receive the award have strong ties to WPN and will be sharing some insights and lessons they've learned on their road to success.
The 2014 Women's Success She-Rocks Award recipients are:
Trina Robinson
Emmy award winning journalist (NBC 6). Ms. Robinson began working at NBC6 in September of 1999 and has continuously brought value to her viewership and is actively involved in community events. She was an early supporter of WPN with a piece that aired in their first year in business.
Rita Goldberg
Founder of British Swim School, dedicated to teaching water survival for over 30 years. Ms. Goldberg was a national swimmer in Britain, who went on to become a dedicated swim instructor and after working in the education system for many years, she left to open her own private swim school in 1981 in the basement of a Victorian house in Manchester, England. Thereafter, she came to the United States and opened British Swim School, which now has over 17 locations throughout the United States. Ms. Goldberg became a member of WPN in 2009.
Wendi Blum
Author, International Speaker, Entrepreneur Consultant, Designer and so much More! Wendi Blum enjoyed a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years until (at age 45) she felt a calling to completely change every aspect of her life. Wendi decided to re-write the story of her life literally and become an international inspirational speaker, author, workshop leader, and lifeshift retreat guru. She was first introduced to WPN as she began the reinvention process and has maintained strong ties to the community throughout her journey.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the event on April 12th will include a mastermind discussion on "The Road to Success" that gives all participants the opportunity to share ideas and strategies on achieving their goals, both personally and professionally.
