West Palm Beach, FL -- Wilesmith Advertising/Design, West Palm Beach, has been contracted by the Town of Miami Lakes to develop a marketing plan for the Miami Lakes Mover, a free bus service that provides transportation to key destination points throughout the town, and also connects existing Metrobus stops and Metrorail, using two different routes.
"The Miami Lakes Mover is a fantastic addition to a Town that has adopted a customer-driven a business model. Unlike other forms of public transport, The Miami Lakes Mover offers flag-down service, so riders needn't wait at a designated bus stop; people can simply flag down the bus from a safe location and it will stop to pick them up," said Margaret Wilesmith, the award-winning firm's president and creative director. "The ultimate goal will be to increase ridership while alleviating traffic congestion."
"This is our second major project for The Town of Miami Lakes," added Ms. Wilesmith. "In 2012, our agency branded this beautiful and growing community, and the Town to its credit has fully embraced and activated the brand."
Wilesmith Advertising/Design has, or is currently working with other cities across Florida on branding initiatives including the Cities of South Miami, Dania Beach, Pompano Beach, Tavares, Dunedin, Clermont and the historic and arts districts of West Palm Beach.
