Always having an affinity and drive for helping those less fortunate, Terrance Roberts was a regular volunteer with Rebuilding Together Broward before he landed his current position as Project Manager. His hard work and perseverance, and prior experience in the field of Building Maintenance, quickly caught the eye of Executive Director Sandra Veszi Einhorn who immediately approached him to fill the position when it became available. A veteran Navy Seal, Roberts began his career by enlisting in the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morgan Field, Kentucky where he was trained in the field of Building Maintenance. He later enrolled in the U.S Navy where he served for seven years. In the Navy he first became an Eoman (Administration). His discipline, extreme focus and dedication then resulted in his accomplishment of becoming a Navy Seal. After leaving the Navy with an Honorable Discharge, he decided to follow his passion for Building Maintenance. For twelve years, he held several Building Maintenances positions, including rising to become Maintenance Supervisor. While working with the properties he maintained, Roberts proudly obtained his HVAC Certification. He also worked part time in Security and obtained his Security Class (D) License.
