FORT LAUDERDALE – The Broward Center for the Performing Arts has named Sophie Grabinski premium sales and service manager and Rhonda Gutierrez group sales coordinator.
Grabinski will be responsible for increasing visibility of and generating group and individual sales for the Broward Center’s new Club Level, a unique and exclusive theater experience offering complimentary valet parking, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, coffee and dessert, along with extra-roomy theater seats in a seating area adjacent to the lounge. She previously was the premium services account manager for Bobcats Sports & Entertainment in Charlotte, N.C.
As group sales coordinator, Gutierrez will focus on increasing awareness of the group sales department and promoting the venue’s many show titles to organizations throughout South Florida. She was previously the spa sales supervisor and group sales coordinator at the Ritz-Carlton Resort in Fort Lauderdale.
“The Broward Center has always been a terrific venue for friends and family to come together and enjoy a memorable experience. Many companies also find it an ideal venue for business entertainment – from recognition and cultivation events to holiday parties. With the addition of the new Club Level, these opportunities for entertainment are growing, and there is much more on the horizon with our planned expansion,” said Broward Center President and CEO Kelley Shanley. “We’re delighted to welcome Sophie and Rhonda to our team to help generate buzz about these enhancements and build awareness of these new hospitality spaces that are perfect for groups hosting special events. With the addition of the Huizenga Pavilion next season, and a spectacular Riverview Ballroom overlooking the New River, the Broward Center will offer entertainment experiences truly unique to South Florida.”
The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is located in the Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District at 201 SW Fifth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
