FORT LAUDERDALE (June 14, 2012) -- DeBianchi Real Estate, a leading South Florida full-service real estate agency, is pleased to announce that it is expanding its office by hiring four new associates, it was announced today by Samantha (Sam) DeBianchi, owner and founder of DeBianchi Real Estate.
The growing agency has added real estate agents John DeShields, Molly Sikora and Lauren McGee; and executive assistant, Dalton Francis, to its budding roster. Similar to her own unique background in real estate and hospitality, DeBianchi has added realtors to her team that will help her offer an innovative buying and selling experience to the South Florida market.
A fourth generation Floridian, John DeShields joins DeBianchi Real Estate as a real estate agent with a rich knowledge of the local real estate community and a broad background in management and hospitality. Before joining DeBianchi Real Estate, DeShields served as a personal management consultant for professional athletes, including three Kansas City Chiefs players. Prior to that, he played an essential role in the opening of Blue Martini Lounge’s three locations in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Miami. While attending Florida Atlantic University, where he played five years of college football under Coach Howard Schnellenberger, DeShields also managed and supervised the daily operations of leading construction supplier, Smith & DeShields, his family’s owned business.
Molly Sikora has also joined DeBianchi Real Estate in the position of real estate agent after re-locating to South Florida five years ago. Originally from the Northeast, Sikora grew up in the world of real estate working in her family’s business, Apple Island Company, a Vermont corporation involved in land planning, permitting, real estate sales, architectural and building services. She most recently served as the company’s Treasurer. Prior to that, she spent three years as Apple Island’s office manager and bookkeeper, overseeing the company’s corporate accounts.
As DeBianchi’s third new realtor, Lauren McGee, who brings an impressive hospitality and event planning background, will also head up the company’s Events Department. Previously, McGee was the Assistant Hospitality Producer/Concierge Correspondent for LiveNation, Inc. where she managed operations and assisted lead production for over four hundred shows. Before that she was the Conference Concierge at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach where she served as the personal liaison between corporate clientele and event planning management. McGee’s extensive experience with event planning included founding the Beach Powderpuff Bowl which she organizes every summer to benefit a different charity. McGee attended Florida State University and the American Business School of Paris in Paris.
Additionally, Dalton Francis has joined DeBianchi Real Estate as an Executive Assistant. As a recent graduate of the Florida International University School of Hospitality, Francis has several years of hospitality industry experience having worked or interned at the Turnberry Isles Miami Hotel in Aventura, Marriott International: Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Doral and the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau in Brickell.
