FORT LAUDERDALE, Fl – Broward College is pleased to announce Daniela Circonciso has been promoted to Director of Marketing from her previous role as Assistant Director of Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategy. The College is also happy to announce Lesli Cartaya Franco and Jennifer Silverio has been hired to join its marketing and communications department. Franco will serve as the college’s new Director of Communications and Silverio will be taking on the role of Director of Creative and New Media.

In her new role as Director of Marketing, Daniela Circonciso, will be responsible for creating marketing campaigns for enrollment and programs, managing advertising campaigns, and overseeing brand management standards for the College. In her prior role as the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing and Social Media, Daniela launched the college’s social media platforms, earning top ranks in social media and engagement among 28 state peer institutions. Since 2011 the college has earned several awards in the areas of creative strategy, digital execution, and storytelling under Circonciso’s leadership. Circonciso earned her bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Smith College and she is currently completing a master’s of science in mass communication at the University of Florida. She serves as board member of the Association of Florida Colleges-Broward College Chapter and the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association.
Lesli Cartaya Franco brings 15 years of experience to her role as Director of Communications for Broward College. In her new role she will be responsible for developing communication strategies that help advance the positive impact of Broward College in the South Florida community. Prior to joining Broward College, Franco was the Marketing and Public Relations Manager for Kids in Distress, where she helped spearhead the enhancement of the organization’s image through design, storytelling, and media relations. She also previously served as Director of Marketing at Aventura Hospital. Franco is active in organizations dedicated to improving South Florida and currently participates in Class XXXIV of Leadership Broward Foundation, Emerge Broward, and PRSA, among others. She earned her master’s degree in integrated communications from Florida International University in Biscayne Bay, FL, and her bachelor of arts in communications from Stetson University in Deland, FL.
Jennifer Silverio joins the Broward College team as Director of Creative and New Media. She will be responsible for advancing and integrating the Broward College brand and visual identity across the institution to increase awareness of services provided and increase engagement of Broward College throughout the community. Prior to joining Broward College, Silverio founded Coral Creative Group, a boutique branding and digital marketing company in Fort Lauderdale providing social media management, and creative and graphic design services to a number of clients. She also served as the Manager of Web & Social Media at Broward Health where she led the expansion of the system’s online reach, spearheaded the development of its social media strategy, and handled technical aspects of BrowardHealth.org, while guiding other digital efforts throughout the system. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Information Science from Florida State University.
