Nosh Fest III is the main event of Temple Beth Emet’s community service weekend next month. The weekend will kick off on Saturday, Feb. 11, when 40-50 members of the Temple will volunteer their time sorting, checking and repackaging donated food at Feeding South Florida’s warehouse.
“We’re very appreciative of Temple Beth Emet’s donations to Feeding South Florida,” said Anthea Pennant, director of external affairs for Feeding South Florida. “Their generosity will help to feed thousands of South Floridians facing food insecurity.”
“We at Temple Beth Emet created Nosh Fest not only to give the entire community a taste of Jewish-style cuisine, but also to alleviate hunger,” said Stuart Silver, Chair of the Nosh Fest III Committee. “Nosh Fest has grown each year, as more of our friends and neighbors, as well as businesses throughout Broward County, volunteer and otherwise support our effort to supply tons of food to those in need. We look forward to another great success on Feb. 12.”
