Dania Beach, FL -- DCOTA owner Charles S. Cohen is well known for heading a multi-faceted real estate development company (Cohen Brothers Realty and Cohen Design Centers) that owns and manages more than 12 million square feet of prime office and showroom space in Manhattan, Los Angeles, Florida and Houston, but it as Chairman and CEO of Cohen Media Group that he was honored on March 13 with the Ordre National Du Mérite (National Order of Merit) by the President of the French Republic for his commitment and contributions to the French artistic community. Accordingly, he will be decorated with the prestigious Knight of the Order medal at a ceremony to be held at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Established by President Charles de Gaulle in 1963, The National Order of Merit, was created to award French citizens as well as foreign nationals for distinguished civil or military achievements. Charles S. Cohen was honored for his work as the leading distributor of French cinema in the U.S.
