Two members of the LYC Opti race team were named to Team USA and traveled to Riva Del Garda, Italy to participate in the biggest Opti regatta in the world.

In fact, with more than 1,000 boats competing, this year's race set a Guinness record for the largest one-design regatta in history. The setting was beautiful Lake Garda, which is surrounded by snow-capped mountains plunging straight down into the water.

Competing against 800 boats in the Junior division (ages 11-15), Max Gillette finished 58th in Silver and Cali Lewis finished 150th in Bronze.
