Stacy Boegem - FemCity Ft. Lauderdale’s new president. FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – Femfessionals, an innovative business community for professional women and business owners, is a movement that has relaunched in Broward County in a big way. Recently, Femfessionals has significantly expanded in Broward County with its FemCity Ft. Lauderdale community, and announced Stacy Boegem as FemCity Ft. Lauderdale’s new president.
 
Every month, FemCity Ft. Lauderdale hosts connection events, “Around Town Socials” and business workshops for diverse groups of ambitious, authentic women who are looking to make new strategic connections to strengthen their business circle, increase revenue for their business, and attend dynamic socials. FemCity Ft. Lauderdale’s  signature connection events strongly encourage women to promote their “brand,” interact supportively and conclude with an endorsment of another woman anywhere in the world, all in an uplifting environment.
 
FemCity Ft. Lauderdale also hosts seminars on current business trends, along with a mix of inspirational and innovative workshops, typically limited to no more than 40 guests.
 
FemCity Ft. Lauderdale’s next Signature Connection Luncheon, open to members and non-members of Femfessionals, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 12–2 p.m. at Rudy’s at Hollywood Beach Golf Resort, 1650 Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL 33020. Its next “Around Town Social” event will be a Wine Tasting Soiree on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 6–8 p.m., hosted by Mas Vino, 704 E Hallandale Beach Blvd., Hallandale Beach, FL 33009. Boegem brings her experience as an attorney, C-level business executive, and entrepreneur to FemCity Ft. Lauderdale. Boegem’s passion for connecting and supporting women to pursue their passion and be of service in the world is contagious, and her recruitment numbers prove that this community is responding. FemCity Ft. Lauderdale gained 45 new members in August and September, the result of unique and modern connection events, promotion of its community of members on social media, and word of mouth.

In her business, The Happiness Agenda, LLC, Boegem – a native New Orleanian – is known as the Mentor to Happy Moms and Mompreneurs. She is a certified life and business coach, motivational speaker, founder of the South Florida Mompreneurs Synergy group, author of the forthcoming book, Birthing Business After Baby, and creator of the MOMsterMind, a one-of-a-kind facilitated mastermind experience for the stay-at-home mom looking to turn an idea, passion, or hobby into a businessthat works for her, and not the other way aroud.
 
Boegem’s written and video blogs have subscribers all over the world, gaining inspiration on happiness, balancing work and family, achieving goals, and running a successful business as a mompreneur. Her role as president of FemCity Ft. Lauderdale seamlesslyintegrates her work in connecting, educating, and inspiring women to live life on their own terms, defining success for themselves.
 
Previously, Boegem practiced law in Manhattan in the areas of securities and bankruptcy litigation, and served as chief operating officer of Socialight, a web 2.0 tech startup. In her pre-law school life, she served as a director at one of the greatest kids' sleepaway camps in the U.S.
