FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (September 3, 2013) – Brimstone WFG Holding Company, LLC is pleased to announce that is has hired renowned South Florida restaurant veteran Andy Fox as its new Director of Operations for its three award-winning South Florida restaurant concepts:  Grille 401 on Las Olas Boulevard in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Piñon Grill located at The Terrace at Town Center in Boca Raton, and Brimstone Woodfire Grill located in the Shops at Pembroke Gardens.  In his new position, Fox will supervise the day-to-day operations of the three upscale eateries and oversee ongoing expansion opportunities for Brimstone WFG, the parent company of Rainmaker Restaurant Group.

Most recently, Fox, who brings more than 20 years of restaurant experience to his new role with Brimstone WFG, served as Operating Partner of The Restaurant People’s Yolo Restaurant and The O Lounge in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. While with The Restaurant People, he also opened Vibe Las Olas Night Club and S3 Restaurant located on A1A in the Hilton Hotel, and served as the Director of Operations for all of these locations and Tarpon Bend Fort Lauderdale.

“Andy is a seasoned restaurant veteran who will play a key role for our ongoing dedication to bringing the finest dining, entertainment and hospitality services to our patrons in the South Florida market,” stated Jeff Anderson, owner of Brimstone WFG.  “His extensive experience and stellar reputation have made him the perfect person to lead our restaurant concepts in South Florida.”

“Andy has successfully opened and managed restaurant concepts for over 20 years, and we are confident that he will continue to provide innovative food and cocktail concepts that will provide an exciting dining experience for all of our valued guests,” added J.R. Anderson, a principal with Brimstone WFG.

Andy Fox began his restaurant career with Houston’s Restaurant Group in 1990 where he started in the kitchen at the age of 19 and quickly worked his way through the ranks. He opened two restaurants with Houston’s as a Kitchen Corporate Trainer in Pompano Beach, Florida and Los Angeles, California.  He then joined Houston’s management team and managed restaurants in Boca Raton and New Orleans before opening a new store in Winter Park, Florida.  Fox then opened Houston’s new restaurant concept, The Palm Beach Grill, in Palm Beach, Florida as the restaurant’s Head Chef.

After leaving Houston’s, Fox transitioned from running restaurants to becoming an expert in selling them.  With his vast knowledge of the business, he was able to assist restaurant owners in selling and placing a value on their businesses.  It didn’t take long for Fox to miss working in restaurants, so he then teamed up with his former Houston’s colleagues at The Restaurant People and became General Manager of three different locations including overseeing the opening of their location in Coral Gables. He then went on to create two new restaurant concepts: Bucky’s Grill and Bucky’s BBQ. He created the menu, recipes, training material and operated the two restaurant concepts. From there, he went back to  The Restaurant People and now has joined Brimstone WFG as their Director of Operations.

As one of South Florida’s leading restaurant groups, Brimstone WFG is committed to offering the freshest, most delicious and innovative menu selections to all of its guests.  While each has a flavor of its own, all of the concepts source a premier selection of fresh and locally grown ingredients to provide dishes with distinct flavors and stylish presentations that follow current culinary styles but also sets trends of their own.  Their newest concept, Grille 401 on Las Olas Blvd. has quickly become Fort Lauderdale’s Downtown Dining Destination.  This upscale, yet casual, eatery features an innovative menu of freshly grilled seafood, steak, homemade pastas, fresh salads, delicious desserts and an expansive mezzanine perfect for private events, socializing and corporate meetings. With its intriguing New American menu and warmly sophisticated interiors, Piñon Grill in the Boca Town Center is quintessential “New American” cuisine.  Piñon Grill’s lunch and dinner menus creatively follow culinary trends while pairing new and interesting flavor profiles with classic favorites.   Brimstone Woodfire Grill in the Shops at Pembroke Gardens boasts exceptional quality and a mélange of flavors including steaks cooked in a 1600-degree broiler, wood-fire-grilled fresh seafood, gourmet flatbreads, sushi and salads.
